Innovative Kids & Horses Education Program Begins the Fall Sessions
Victory Ranch Conducts Program at Two Locations
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA—October 8, 2008—Victory Ranch Inc. has started the Kids & Horses Education Program Fall sessions, where we provide an innovative equine program that unites foster and adopted kids with the magical therapy of horses and ponies. This is an educational opportunity for these kids to learn the basics of horses and horsemanship that includes riding for the last three of ten sessions.
Kids & Horses Education Program Expands to San Mateo County
Victory Ranch has expanded its operations to include a session of the Kids & Horses Education Program in San Mateo County. “We are excited to start a session this fall, and conduct it at the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County”, comments Doug Hutten, the founder of Victory Ranch.
The program continues in San Jose at Almaden Equestrian Center with kids from SCCFAPA (Santa Clara County Foster & Adoptive Parents Association). Victory Ranch provides sessions with friendly horses and ponies that are fun, safe and unique for the whole family. Kids learn about their four-legged friends – what they eat, how they communicate, and why they are special. The goal for the participants is to also to learn how to ride. Kids and their families experience the loving connection these friendly ponies and horses provide. Smiles and laughter are the welcomed results of this happy, healing, and rewarding outdoor experience, a breath of fresh air from the children’s daily routines.
This unique equestrian program leaves the students with improved communication skills, renewed self-confidence, and a transformed sense of self-achievement… rewards that leave a lifetime impression with these challenged youth. The program is free to these participants.
