About the Founder - Doug Hutten
My adult equestrian experience spans over thirty years and includes: avid trail riding, competing, stable management, training, volunteering with special needs organizations, serving as a Former Deputy Sheriff with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department Mounted Unit, writing for Western Horseman Magazine, barn building, barn sales, working with various equestrian Search & Rescue Teams (both in Colorado and California), trail boss for pack trips in Colorado, organizing/managing a PRCA-sanctioned event (while with Jaycees), a Charity-Celebrity Trail Ride in Golden Gate Park benefiting Cure Autism Now, and an annual fundraising trail ride in Woodside, CA for B.O.K. Ranch.
